Facility Maintenance & Safety Lead
As the Facility Maintenance & Safety Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring Second Harvest's facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds remain safe, clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Responsibilities include leading workplace safety initiatives, coordinating facility and fleet maintenance, overseeing food safety, sanitation, and pest control programs, managing vendor relationships, and supporting food safety audit readiness. The position ensures compliance with American Institute of Baking (AIB), Feeding America, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and organizational standards while supporting efficient warehouse and facility operations. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on environment and is committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and mission-driven workplace.
